:: Miami Nov, 2004 ::
Through my friend Richard Colado (of The Julius Airwave), I've gotten to know and perform with a wonderful bassoonist, Anthony Anurca, or as I like to call him, Nurkie. Anthony is in the prestigious New World Symphony and invited Richard and myself to come down and take part in the NWS's Musicians' Forum, in which NWS members perform recitals of material of their choosing. We performed Colado's "Rivers and Lakes" and were overwhelmed and honored by the standing ovation we received. It was great to get down to Miami also to see my wonderful family.
